Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our wonderful rescues!
We encourage you to stay active and up-to-date on our Facebook page to see who we have in rescue, who is currently accepting applications and who is coming into rescue as well as their needs and what the ideal home would entail for each individual animal.
The animals we care for are ever-changing and because Panda Paws Rescue & Amanda herself have been very busy lately (in part due to balancing the rescue & television show) it’s quite the undertaking to keep up.
Thank you for your understanding and following our social media platforms!

Heads up!!! Horse savvy volunteers wanted! We will SOON post a transport plea to move mini horse from Louisiana to New Jersey! This is a early warning for those in that area! She will fit in the average SUV and these legs will be longer than usual. Panda Paws Rescue can put our drivers up in hotels when their legs are completed if you prefer not to drive back home the same day. 💕 ... See MoreSee Less

Eileen came in to Tanasbourne veterinary emergency approximately 2 years ago lame on her back right leg. Her fur was so extremely overgrown, matted, and dirty it was hard to even tell what type of breed she was. At the time she was acting aggressive when we attempted to see what was going on with her leg. She was sedated and the fur was shaved off. It was then that we realized the mats had gotten so tight it caused necrosis of pretty much her entire leg. Her only option was to have it amputated. The owner at the time could not afford the surgery and contemplated euthanasia. Because she was so young we gave her the option of relinquishment what she did decide to choose. Her leg was amputated that day and her recovery began with us at TVER. Another technician and I both loved her so much we did a joint custody thing for about a year taking turns keeping her for periods of time. The other technician moved to maui about a year ago and could not take her with and she has resided with me ever since. Right about that time approximately a year ago Eileen started having seizures. High doses of Gabapentin was keeping them controlled for a little while but has since stopped working as well. She now needs Keppra and/or Phenobarbital for her seizures.
Eileen has a lot of personality! She is extremely playful and loves toys of all kinds! She does not act like a tripod she runs and plays with other dogs and is able to keep up with them and can jump up onto any furniture no problem by herself. She is also extremely vocal. She would NOT do well in an apartment as she barks at most noises including knocks on the door, car doors shutting and sometimes people walking down the road. Eileen is very good with cats and all dog breeds that she has come in contact with. She is not fond of small children but I think would do well with older mature children that understand most dog behaviors. She also is a high maintenance dog when it comes to grooming. She does best when groomed at home. I have been told she was banned from a certain groomer because she attempted to bite anytime they would try to groom her face. She would not do this with me when I would groom her at home. She also loves car rides and going to new places. If you have any specific questions about Eileen and her personality her foster mom would be happy to tell you all about it!
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to be put in touch with her foster mom to potentially adopt! ... See MoreSee Less

Here’s an amazing pupdate for those of you who fell in love with Cade!
From Northern California Weimaraner Rescue: NCWR acquired Cade when we were notified that he was in danger of being euthanized. Although the shelter thought he was a Weimaraner mix, we knew that wasn't the case but we chose to help this adorable puppy anyway. Unfortunately, after a few weeks in
foster, Cade started having symptoms of a liver shunt, a birth defect, which was confirmed by UC Davis. Although the necessary surgery is an expensive, complicated one, another miracle happened for Cade! Panda Paws rescue kicked off a fund-raiser & successfully raised the funds to save Baby Cade!
He has officially been ADOPTED, surgery is scheduled and thanks to all of you, NCWR & PPR, Cade got his happily-ever-after! ... See MoreSee Less

Here is a short video clip of how our sweetheard Puggy is getting around right now. She is almost a year old and we are extremely thankful to her owners for reaching out to see if we can help. I have shown everything to our amazing surgical wizard, Dr. Shawn Thomas, and he feels confident that we can greatly improve her life. She will always be special in her own unique way but getting her knees corrected, even braces possibly, will offer her such better quality! We had a Chihuahua from Nevada in our rescue years ago that was nearly identical and she is still thriving to this day! I will be flying to pick her up next week! ... See MoreSee Less
Bless her little heart 💓
Thank you for all the hard work you do. You are a beautiful human being!
The little tail is still waging, despite this disability.
Bless you Amanda
Bless you all. Know you will do your best to help this girl. So happy you are feeling better. Missed you!
How sweet you do such amazing work!
Fair bloody play, you guys are brilliant!
poor little thing thank you for taking care of her ❤
She has a very determined spirit. She is a fighter. So cute.
Oh my gosh....it’s very hard to watch. But she is in excellent hands and will do great with whatever her recovery plan is!
Will the Pug be returned to the family or will you be looking to place the pup?
So glad you will be getting her
We can learn so much from the resilience and determination of animals. Bless her sweet heart, she is a dolly.
Oh precious girl!!! I love how resilient pugs are, she’s tooting along and not letting her issues slow her down. I am so glad she’s in your care and you’re getting things figured out for her. ❤️
Thank you for all you do for these fur baby's 💗🐾

It is time to share the craziest, longest rescue challenge I have had on my plate in a long time. The end result is I HAVE NOT given up and I had to lay my pride down and make choices that are best for this 4 month old wonder pony! I was contacted by her owners a month ago asking if there was anything our teams could do to help. Her back left hood was bitten by a venomous snake and it became necrotic and needs an amputation & prosthetic despite all efforts to save her foot. I reached out to our equine specialists, Oregon State University, UC Davis and Cornell University. We got quotes from the ONE surgeon willing to try, our prosthetic partner Derrick at Bionic Pets and I took her case to our board who voted to SAVE HER at all costs - even to the tune of potentially $45,000 (transport, surgery, 8-10 weeks of hospitalization, prosthetics as she changes and grows, etc). Well, fast forward with a tremendously difficult series of communication breakdowns, I reached out to another rescue partner who is a GURU at orthotics and prosthetics with farm life - specifically goats. Many of you may know all about my friend Leanne at Goats of Anarchy! Together we spoke candidly and she got in touch with her equine veterinary specialist who was on the same page as I have been - we have to try to save her! They also felt the upward costs of $45,000 were out of this world, too. So, while I wanted this baby to come to me I am know working on getting her into Leanne's care where she will get the surgery she needs, the post op care with the surgeon and all the love in the world (which she already has thankfully)! I will be working closely with GOA's team and Panda Paws Rescue will be covering 100% of her costs! Therefore, we will be doing a very special fundraiser for this sugar button and we will continue to stay teamed up throughout the whole process! I cannot wait to personally meet this baby and hug everyone who has been so instrumental in giving her the best chance to have a GREAT life!
STAY TUNED for our formal fundraiser and THANK YOU to everyone who believes in us! I cannot stress how many endless hours I have put into this one individual case. Even though sometimes I felt completely defeated and wanted to cry, I dug in deeper because I FEEL it in my heart that this is the right thing to do! <3 ... See MoreSee Less
That rescue group is so awesome! I follow that page as well 🙂
I can't wait! Bless you and all involved 😍
Keep doing what you’re doing! Nobody said doing the right thing was easy!! Thanks for sticking in there!
Thank you for saving her!
Yay!! Awesome work Amanda! You are amazing! 👏🏼❤️
GOA is a wonderful rescue too.
As a follower of GOA, reading this brought tears to my eyes. What a great team!
Mama Panda & PPR always gets it done with the best outcome possible❣️
You are amazing.
I feel that this shows you truly mean to help - especially to the people who say you’re just in it for fame or recognition or whatever else they think. To take that step back and KNOW that an animal needs more help than you can provide or to pass the reins(ha!) to someone who is more equipped to handle something is huge. Keep being you 😊
Thank you Amanda, for doing all you can for her.❤️❤️❤️
Maybe because she will chang and grow put up a challenge to 3D printers to print a prosthetic for her.
I would love to have her so precious thanks for all you do
Can’t wait for the official fundraiser for this cutie
Once again you're amazing!
She is adorable.Thank you for doing all you can to save her
adorbs!! bless her heart.
God bless you all ❤️

Meet our new boy, Phoenix, coming to us in a week! He is a 4 month old blue baby boy born with Cerebellar Hypoplasia. This little wobbler is NOT in pain but he is very special and will be soon looking for a home to love him and his silly wiggles unconditionally. We are so fortunate for his foster momma, Kaila, for reaching out and for our East Coast friends at Starting Over Animal Rescue for teaming up with us to help him find the best happily ever after! ... Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know all is well, all the dogs are great, but I am really sick. I’m taking time to rest, rest, rest so I can kick this bug and get back to saving lives. I’m no good to anyone when I’m this sick so it’s important for me to take care of me for a moment. We have a lot of cases I’m working on and organizing their arrival & I’ll introduce you to the newbies soon! Thank you for understanding and I’m sorry for my absence on social media over the last couple days. ❤️ ... See MoreSee Less
