Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our wonderful rescues!
We encourage you to stay active and up-to-date on our Facebook page to see who we have in rescue, who is currently accepting applications and who is coming into rescue as well as their needs and what the ideal home would entail for each individual animal.
The animals we care for are ever-changing and because Panda Paws Rescue & Amanda herself have been very busy lately (in part due to balancing the rescue & television show) it’s quite the undertaking to keep up.
Thank you for your understanding and following our social media platforms!

Milo was rescued by Priceless Pet Rescue (501c3) from a shelter in in Southern California. Although we don't know his backstory or his real birthday, he is definitely an interesting character who is not yet one. When Milo first went into foster care all he would do is wander in circles. He also displayed other odd behaviors such as disliking to be held, general confusion and overall hyperactivity. Because his eyes are an unusual color of bright blue, we weren't sure if he could see. He often didn't respond to verbal cues either so we wondered if he was deaf. After many assessments, to get to the root of Milo's issues, it was determined that he can both hear and see but he likely has a slow processing time. What was also determined was that Milo has Lissencephaly (meaning "smooth brain"). Lissencephaly is a rare brain disorder where the whole or parts of the surface of the brain appear smooth. This birth defect is a lack of development of brain folds and grooves. Once we knew what Milo's issues were we got to work on training him to do such things as walking on a leash, allowing other to hold him and toilet training. With lots of repetition and consistency Milo now presents as almost a typical dog. He plays well with others, he can walk on a leash and he is beginning to be successful with his toilet training. The person who adopts Milo will need to consider that Milo will always be a slow learner, but he can learn. For Milo, having another easy-going dog in the adoptive family would be a plus. Milo enjoys playing with other dogs in the way young puppies like to play. Milo will likely have puppy like behavior for a long time, possibly his whole life. Over time, Milo may develop seizures, another possible side-effect of his birth defect, but currently that is not an issue. Milo is a beautiful dog inside and out. He would make a wonderful addition to the right family who would be able to accept him for who he is and enjoy him for his little silly quirks. What you and your family and friends do is Amazing, Amanda you are a Earth Angel. I just finished watching the episode with Jedi and all the other hitchhikers you saved here from Australia 🇦🇺 Huge respect for what you do ❤️✊🏻
Prayers for Milo to get a forever home soon 🙏🙏🙏
Seriously respect Panda Paws Rescue so much for all they do. My wife and I and our Autistic son do everything we can locally to help any animal in need. Our goal is to have a sanctuary for any and all dogs (my wife says cats also, lol) of any age or medical condition if it's within our skill set. Which includes currently; blindness, deafness, seizures and motor challenged. We have the land already but it needs to be developed and structures built for we intend to make this our forever home as well. And in time, heck or high water it will happen. But...my question is, are there any agencies or grants, any programs that might be available to speed up the process? I'm asking in this forum because once again i trust and believe in your organization and your followers are also like minded and might have information as well. We live in Western NY and there is not a lot of options for these poor pups and we just want to make any difference we can so all information is greatly appreciated. And Happy Birthday Amanda 🎉
Milo is a gorgeous fella and a trooper ❤️
He's a cutie and looks like he enjoys water also, and what fun he would have if he gets a furbaby brother or sister😍😍I know that special family is out there🙏🙏 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
He is beautiful
God love him.
He is adorable!!!
what a cutie!

Good afternoon everybody, it’s Jade! My mom’s birthday is on the 26th (tomorrow), she will be turning a whopping 37 years of age and this year she would like to celebrate by having a fundraiser! Last year a much needed $27,772 for all the rescue rescues we had in her honor! I know it would mean a lot to my mom, Amanda, and to each special life we acquire here at Panda Paws Rescue to raise funds for all the animals that we still have yet to help and save in the year 2020. She will never ask for this herself & as selfless leader to this pioneering animal welfare mission, that’s commendable. Her goal has always been to help the underdog and do everything she can to help out in any possible, it’s time to return the favor! I would like to ask everyone to wish my mother a happy birthday by donating to the our mission. 100% of the donations made will go towards helping with medical costs for our future rescues! We appreciate your endless love so much and feel very loved knowing that you guys support the mission our small family is working hard day in, day out to accomplish. Thank you for helping us achieve our goals along the way! Thank you for your love and support! This is community effort & responsibility! ... See MoreSee Less

*Courtesy Post for my amazing team at Viking Veterinary Care*
"Theo was a street cat that was rescued and neutered during a large TNR project. His sweet and social nature quickly became apparent during his release and rather than being released back to the feral colony where he was originally rescued, Theo was taken in Viking Veterinary Care for a thorough check up and blood work. Blood work found that Theo was FIV positive, and further preoperative diagnostics found that he also had a significant heart murmur as well as an enlarged heart. Theo was then scheduled to see the cardiologist for a further work up on his heart before he could undergo anesthesia for a much-needed dental procedure. To everyone’s surprise, his heart was in much better shape than we were expecting, and the cardiologist cleared him for anesthesia. Theo is currently living in the adoption ward at Viking Veterinary Care where he will soon have a dental procedure to clean his teeth and remove a few fractured ones. He currently needs an inhaler to help with his asthma but is not on any other medications besides monthly parasite preventatives and daily probiotics.
Theo will need an adopter who is able to have blood work and echocardiograms done yearly to continue monitoring the progression of his heart disease and is also willing to continue with his daily medications. Because Theo is FIV positive, it is required that he remain an indoor kitty. Other cats in the household may be fine if there is no inter-cat aggression, as FIV is spread through deep bite wounds. Theo does decently well with dogs but will swat if they become to pushy or energetic, and he does great with children. Due to Theo’s history of being a street cat, he tends to have a rough nature when it comes to playing, so an adopter who is very familiar with cat behavior and is easily able to distinguish his feisty playfulness from aggressive behavior would be ideal.
Theo is very social and playful, but also enjoys a good snuggle on the couch. He does well on his leash and harness but is hesitant about going outdoors. He loves to run and chase his toys and is very food motivated, so training has been a fun enrichment time for him. Theo loves catnip and chasing his tail, and most of all, he loves to talk and greet you every time you come around. "
Please contact Viking Vet Care at 9713714024 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you think you’re the puuurrfect fit for Theo! ... See MoreSee Less
What a beautiful boy. If I could have another cat I would take him in a heartbeat.
Awe! He looks a lot like my kitty that passed away. Hope he finds a good home soon!! ❤
love the face
Thank you for sharing our sweet boy! He’s been at our hospital since May and as much as our staff loves snuggling with him, he deserves to sleep with his person at the end of the day. ♥️
Hoping he finds the perfect home soon! ❤️🙏
Prayers for Theo to get a forever home soon 🙏🙏🙏
What a beauty! I adopted King Louie a few months ago from a local rescue. He is FIV+ and such a love. He is a flame point siamese and dotes on his new older sister, my 20 year old seal point Siamese, Lady Guinevere. He is a total love bug.
Love this fur baby
What beautiful eyes!
He is gorgeous I’d take him but have a feral rescue and afraid of aggression😢
Theo looks a lot like our cat Big Boy. He had a lot of health issues (FIV+, enlarged heart, diabetes). One time he was at the vet getting his diabetes check up and the vet wanted to listen to his heart. She tried for about 20 seconds, then said "I can't hear his heart because he's purring too loud!" Big Boy loved everyone and he was so appreciative. He never flinched getting his twice a day insulin shot. Sadly he passed away in Feb 2017 at our house. He's buried in our back yard btwn 2 trees.
This cat looks exactly like my Pippy 🥰🥰
What a handsome guy. Best wishes for a wonderful forever family, Theo!
He is beautiful! Hope he finds a loving home quickly!
Chelsea check that blanket 🙂
Oh he's adorable.
He’s a handsome guy. Our cat Luna runs this house and doesn’t like other animals in it. He will get a great home quickly, I’m sure.
He is gorgeous!! Sharing with hope. 🐾😻🐾
I love when "felal" kitties become loving indoor kitties.
Love those words "to everyone's surprise" he looks like a Maine Coon mix. A beauty
He is gorgeous! Sending prayers that he gets a good home. ❤❤
Hoping for the best for Theo♥️🐾🐈♥️🐾🐈 he’s a cutie

Chance is a 11-12 month old 40-50lb boxer/basenji/maybe pit mix. He is neutered, updated on all vaccines, and has no current medical conditions other than his cerebellar hypoplasia.
Chance is very social, curious, adventurous and loves to be around people and other dogs. He has some mild anxiety but overall loves cuddling, and is a couch potato 🛋🥔 who loves to watch 📺. He also loves baths 🛁 and even the hairdryer!
He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and all people as well as kids. Recommendation is for kids over the age of 8 because his balance can knock even adults down if he gets under foot. He has been getting better at managing environmental stimulation outside but currently he does get over stimulated easily. He would do well in a home in the suburbs where there isn’t so much excited.
Chance can move around well with and without his wheelchair. He does much better in his chair though and is becoming quite the speed racer. He has been practicing outside and does better on grass and flat surfaces and is building up calluses and working on sidewalks and pavement. He can not go up and down stairs and would have to be carried although his current foster has been working with him on that.
Who is going to make Chance's wish of a furever home come true??? 🌟 💫
He’s in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area.

Elizabeth Giberti you neeeeeed him!
What a great face!
Someone kiss that adorable face.
Ears definitely not boxer ears lol
He’s so handsome. He looks like just a really buff Basenji. Does he bark or does he make that yodel weird Basenji sound. It’s hilarious!
Wow, what a beautiful animal!
That face! I hope he finds an amazing home 💓
Lisa D Mctarsney
He's so adorable!!! There has to be that perfect family out there, who can make this furbaby a part of their family...😍❤🙏🙏
That head looks pure basenji. Sooo cute!
Love Basenjis!! I had one growing up. I wish I could. Got too many tiny dogs, though.
AMANDA - Chance actually looks like a Basenji, known for not barking, but that doesn't mean he's silent. His vocalizations range from a delightful yodel to a hair-raising scream, as well as the usual growls, whimpers, and whines made by all dogs. A beautiful dog. Whoever he lives with is going to be super lucky
He is beautiful ♥
What a handsome guy!
He's a Gorgeous looking boy and he and our girl would make beautiful babies. Hope he finds his humans and his new home soon.
