Current name (changed): Mellie

Reason for coming to the rescue: Mellie is a unique story.  We were notified by email from Amanda that Mellie was available on a site called Kijiji.  We were in Kauai at the time so emailed the selling party and made arrangements to meet her when we were back home.  Mellie was a mess…matted up, no vet care etc.  We bought her, took her home and took her to the groomer 1st and the Vet 2nd.  We had to teach her to eat out of dog dish as well as drink water out of a bowl.
