Georgie

Current name (changed): Georgia Peach

Reason for coming to the rescue: Breeder surrender due to having Syringomyelia, a painful spinal condition that affects English Toy Spaniels and Cavaliers often.

Adoption Date: 2016

Georgia came to us in 2016. My husband and I adopt special needs Cavaliers and English Toys specializing in Mitral Valve Disease (and Congestive Heart Failure) and Syringomyelia. Amanda was looking for someone who knew about Syringomyelia and a friend sent me the link to Georgie (who is now Georgia Peach). Immediately fell in love.
Georgia instantly fit into our family. She had no transition issues and acted as if she has always lived with us.
In addition to Syringomyelia, Georgia now has Mitral Valve Disease that luckily has not reached the medication phase yet.
She is our comedic relief. She howls like a hound dog. Is SUPER mischievous and loves to steal the strangest items around the house and bring them to the couch with her.
You will find her snuggling with anyone and anything that isn’t moving. But she especially loves to cuddle our tricolor cavalier Daisy.
Georgia loves everyone she meets and wants to be your best friend…especially if you have snacks.
