Reason for coming to the rescue: Elmer came up from CA as a 9 yr old who had spent his life living outside, but longed to be close to his people.
Adoption Date: 2016
| Elmer had been adopted and then ended up not being the right fit so he came back to PPR. The day I went to Amanda’s to meet Elmer, the moment I sat on the floor he climbed onto my lap and rested his head on my chest. He was living up to his new name……Elmer Glue, because he sticks to you. He and I knew it was meant to be. I had just lost my 16 yr old girl a month before that I had since she was a puppy and was heartbroken. He immediately started to mend my heart. If I was sitting or laying down, he was on my lap or spooning with me. Such a love and the sweetest boy who loved everyone. I had the joy of loving him for 3 years before he went to the rainbow bridge. |
