Salsa

Current name (changed): Callie

Reason for coming to the rescue: Salsa was brought to rescue on the Big Island Hawaii due to stiff back legs. She was flown to Panda Paws Rescue to find out what was going on with her legs.

Adoption Date: 2019

Salsa (aka Callie) is the goofiest, sweetest girl. She has bilateral hip dyslasia from a birth defect. In March of 2020, Panda Paws Rescue arranged to have surgery done to help her legs. After months of recovery, Callie came out able to run and jump like a normal dog. She is not in any pain and loves to play and go on adventures. She has grown into her super long legs and is unstoppable. This goofy girl barks at everything and loves to do tricks for treats. She adores our human children and waits by their door in the mornings for when they get up so they can play with her. She is the 2nd Panda Paws baby to come into our home. Callie and Moby (aka Cirrus) are best buds.
