Tator Tot
Reason for coming to the rescue: This handsome boy was suspected to have Masticatory Muscle Myositis as well as crystals in his urine. MMM is an autoimmune disorder that attacks and breaks down the muscles in the face/jaw area. Those muscles are needed for chewing and typically we would use a high dose of steroids to ahead of the MMM and then keep them on a low dose for life to keep it under control. Fortunately we found out through Dr Shawn Thomas at Tanasbourne Emergency Clinic that he DID not have MMM. We are so grateful to Pacific Pug Rescue for helping this boy and reaching out to us to see if we could help.
Adoption Date: 2020
Tator is such a blessing to our family. Tator loves to play with his human brothers especially his 6 year old brother Caleb. They love to play fetch and run around the back yard together. Tator also loves to go on walks in the neighborhood. Tator is a daddy’s boy and it’s rare to see one without the other. Tator completed our family and we couldn’t imagine our lives without him in it. |
